Worship

Worship at APC

Worship is at the heart of our life together as a church family. We believe that involves worshipping God in Spirit and in truth. We seek to create space where all can encounter His presence.

Our services embrace a rich diversity of traditions, drawing on both the old and the new. We are led by our musicians —from keyboards, drums and guitar to violin and clarinet. Together, we sing hymns that have stood the test of time alongside contemporary worship songs that give voice to faith today.

We also treasure the depth and stillness of Taizé chants, and at times shape our services in the reflective, prayerful style of Iona Abbey.

Above all, our worship is about offering ourselves to God with honesty and openness—bringing our joys, our struggles, and our whole lives before Him.

We gather every Sunday, usually in Aberfeldy Church, but we have joint services on the first Sunday of the month and the location can change. Please check the homepage for ‘This Sunday.’

Sundays 10.45 am

Sundays 6.30 pm

Our Sunday morning services are at 10.45 am (apart from the first Sunday of the month) and we stay for tea and coffee afterwards. We record the sermon and add it to our YouTube channel where it is available for catch up.

The first Sunday of the month we have a ‘linkage’ service with our partner churches.  These are always at 10.30 am. Please check the ‘What’s On This Week!’ on the home page of our website to check which church we are visiting if it is the first Sunday of the month.

Our linkage partners are also having services:

Dull & Weem at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings.

Grantully, Logierait & Strathtay at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.

Aberfeldy Parish Church is a congregation within the Church of Scotland. We are linked with the congregations of Dull & Weem and Grantully, Logierait & Strathtay, and are part of Perth Presbytery.

We are a registered Scottish Charity (SC007899)
