Room Hire

It is very important to us that our church building is used by community groups!

 All our rooms are wheelchair accessible including toilet facilities.

Room hires are subject to our terms and conditions which can be found by clicking on the link above.

Standard Charge

• The standard charge for Lawers is £15.40 per hour
• The standard charge for Farragon is £11 per hour
• The standard charge for Rainbow is £8.80 per hour
• The standard charge for the Welcome Area is £8.80 per hour
• The standard charge for the use of the Kitchen is £8.80 per hour

NB if users need more than one room, the charge will be the standard for the largest room booked, plus 50% of the standard charge for other rooms.

Discounted rates

The standard charge may be reduced by up to 50% for hall use by charities or other organisations that the Church wishes to support and are unable to pay the standard charge.  There will be no charge for use of any Church facilities by groups substantially comprised.

Full facility hires

A standard charge of £175 will apply for the hire of all of the Church Facilities, this includes the Sanctuary, for large events that are not regarded as part of Aberfeldy Parish Church ministry or part of the Outreach Programme – eg the staging of a concert.

Use as part of Church Ministry or Outreach

There will be no charge for use of any Church facilities by groups substantially comprised of Church members/attendees or for events which form part of the Church Outreach Programme.  However, if such groups or individuals wish to make a voluntary contribution it should be accepted.

For the avoidance of doubt, the following are regarded as part of the Ministry or Outreach:-

Room Preparation

In all cases, except funerals, the preparation of any room should be undertaken by the organisation who made the booking.  All rooms are to be left clean and tidy with all bins emptied. Cleaning materials can be found in the Kitchen.

Payments

An invoice will be raised and all payments are to be made to Aberfeldy Parish Church preferably by Bank Transfer, see below
