Prayer

Prayer underpins ‘bringing God to people … and people to God’

Prayer is not only a great mystery, a wonderful gift and privilege but a command from the Lord. It is the vital element underpinning everything we do as a Church.

For each of us, our community, and for the world
As there is power in corporate prayer we gather together in unity for the Wednesday Evening Prayer Meeting at 8pm in the Farragon Room. Everyone is welcome to join together to  focus our prayers  on known immediate and individual needs, for the Church, for local or national situations and worldwide affairs as the Holy Spirit leads us

Seeking prayer?
There are further opportunities to pray during the week in House-groups, informal small gatherings and at occasional special events. If you have any prayer requests there are Prayer Cards in the Welcome Area or contact Isabelle Macdonald 07768 492803 or any other member of the Prayer Team.

Members of the Prayer Team are: Grace Steele, Christina Bryson,  Kit Strathairn, Donald Strathairn, Anna Sibbald, Tom Sibbald, Alistair Baillie, Ruth Lunan,  Margaret Dunlop and Isabelle Macdonald.

PRAYER MINISTRY
...is available at the end of each Sunday morning service.

Members of our trained and experienced Prayer Ministry team will be at the back of the Church wearing purple badges. We will pray into any need or difficulty you're facing with expectation and faith in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. We always pray in the name of Jesus. We also offer Prayer Ministry on a Tuesday lunch between 12.30 - 2pm by appointment.
